I tend to be happy where ‘I can be me’ and that may be anywhere on this God’s earth where I may be at the moment . . . there are moments I may feel discontent at home and, altho’ I love much of France, I have never been in love with Paris except for the food 🙂 !
I love that quote. I don’t think it’s true, but I love Paris and France enough to love that quote. It reminds me of a quote the Husband likes to repeat from time to time (I think from Churchill): “If you’re bored of London, you’re bored of life.”

I think that quote was from a writer, but it evades for the moment. But like you, loving Paris is quite easy.
