Winter sunrise and Mt Hood
The first half of my life I lived in Oregon. Mt Hood and it’s trails were home and even today are frequently in my thoughts. Sitting tonight in front of the fire I did a painting, winter colors are amazing.
Sunset on Mt. Rainer
This is bit of a different composition for me. I saw similar coloring of Mt. Rainer in a photo, it inspired me to play with the idea and add a bit of connection to the water of Puget Sound or Lake Washington. I like the way it turned out, inspiration is usually serendipitous.

Hunting in Puget Sound
The tide was lower than normal yesterday, exposing green rocks and providing a rich hunting ground in the shallow water for the local herons.
