Washington Park Arboretum is one of the gems of Seattle. I walked along Azalea Way, dazzling colors all around. This old gnarled tree caught my attention.

It is 81F here in Mukilteo, WA but fall is peeking in the window. The longest, hottest and driest summer in history here in the Seattle area is about to end. I am so ready for rain.
