We sat up on the bow of the ship taking in the sun as the crew was preparing to cast off in Korčula.
On our way to Hvar the captain made a stop at a clam inlet so folks could swim off the back of the ship, too cold for me. Tricia and a shipmate watched the action from the deck.
The ship’s chef continued to serve up some good meals, hard to believe considering the waves and his small galley.
Back in Split we had lunch at Bepa, a restaurant in the same square as the hotel we stayed in a week earlier. We ate there a few times as we liked the servers and the food. This was the second time they brought us free desert, so good.
I did a couple mini-sketches for gifts. The first for a shipmate, the second for a seatmate on our flight to Paris.
We got off the ship early Saturday morning, our flight was not until the evening so there was time for a couple of sketches. First one from a cafe on the Promenade and then one last one from a cafe as we waited for the airport bus.

We are back in Normandie, and of course we are already planning more adventures.

You are making new friends everywhere–and some even scored some personalized sketches! I really enjoyed the bright new colors in some of your sketches–(is that from those Boys crayons you bought?) This last trips seems to have been an unexpected super success with lots of memories of beautiful scenery, interesting people, and amazing food! Glad you both loved it!

I’m so sad to be “leaving” Croatia. It was such a joy to visit through your experiences and senses. Split and Dubnrovnik, I’ll miss you!
