One thing I realize is that my brain never stops thinking about art. I may plan to take a break from posting, yet that does not stop the wheels from turning.

Tricia, at Travels Through My Lens, is continuing her series of posts on the different arrondissements of Paris. I have been creating a map for her along the way with locations of some of the iconic sights we have seen. If you have not checked out her series I would suggest you give it a try. So I did work on the map this week.

Our friends gave us some paperwhite flowers, they are growing and blooming near the window and inspired a painting, which is in progress. Here is a sketch I did and the oil panel so far.

We watched a travel video about the south of France, I did a quick sketch to use for some future painting.

There is activity behind the scene for a project I am working on. It includes sketches of our cat and the Golden Retriever we had years ago so I have been going through photos and setting up albums to use as references. I actually did one trial sketch on the iPad. This will take some time to complete, that is for sure.

So the art part of my life does continue. In eight days we take off on a grande aventure, so Thetravelsketcher will be back in action for that. I hope your journeys are pleasant and peaceful. If you happen to be in Southern California we send our thoughts for you safety in this horrible time.
