TheTravelsketcher’s Tuesday Tip – June 24, 2025

Today is the day that I usually try to think of some sketching tip to pass along, if not something I do when I sketch, then a quote or an idea from some famous artist in history. This week nothing significant comes to mind, so rather than just finding some good advice from the past I thought I would ask for a tip from those of you who read these tips.

What would you find interesting, or helpful?

It could be about art – sketching, painting, digital.

It could be about food or places to eat.

It could be about travel – where or how.

So if you have any “Tips for theTravelsketcher” leave a comment or send an email.

Anyone who leaves a suggestion will get a free copy of my book, I still do have a few copies left. Thanks for your help.

  2. I love to read your tips as I feel I learn a lot even though I haven’t done as much sketching as I would like (and certainly none to share!). Now I do love food and reading about it so am always interested in that – and I know you are like me and enjoy tinned fish and pickled herring!

    1. Thanks, so tips don’t just need to be about art, good thinking.
