Smash those olives to get the pits out.
Removing olive pits is a breeze if you smash them first.
We have pizza often. Though I do make the crust at times, Trader Joe’s premade dough is a lot easier and just as good. We roll it out onto a cookie sheet and I use a bit of dough to divide it in half. Tricia and I have different tastes so we each make our own. I use a higher heat than the package says, 500F, and sprinkle a bit of cornmeal on the sheet before putting the dough on, it helps it crisp a bit.

Tricia used Sungold tomatoes from our garden, along with mushrooms and zucchini.
Then a bit of Parmesan Reggiano and they are ready for the oven. Takes about 10-15 minutes.

Hope this tip helps, and of course sketching food is almost as much fun as the cooking itself.
YUM!
You sketch. We will eat!

Looks yummy, but I prefer Tricia’s half. Maggie

Good, that way I don’t have to share.

I love a good veggie pizza. I often top it with spinach or arugula, which is even more delicious.

Our favourite pizza is going to sound weird, but it’s delicious. Tomato sauce, sliced potatoes, black pepper, asiago and mozzarella, rosemary. It will be one of the first things I make when we get home 😊

Hmm, that is uncommon, but it sounds good. When will you be home again?

All good though potato has never been all that enticing for me on pizza. Do enjoy.

Excellent tip and I would opt for your side of the pizza – but you knew that anyway!

Yum! Good to know about Trader Joe’s premade dough. We typically make our own too, but it’s nice to know there’s a decent premade option when you’re in a pinch.

I just wish they had the premade dough we had in France. A whole refrigerator section of various doughs, sizes and shapes, already rolled out and sold in a tube.
