Yesterday we took a speedboat tour all the way from the end of the Bay of Kotor out into the Adriatic Sea. The entrance to the Bay was guarded by three fortresses, which were built in the 1800s to prevent enemy ships from entering.
I wonder what they would think about a ship like this one making it all the way to Kotor?????? Maybe shelling a cruise ship as it passed the forts would add a whole new dimension to adventure cruising?
While living in France I took candid, discreet, photos of people just hanging out. Since I am back in Europe it seemed a good thing to continue doing. I may be way off on this, but I dont see the same prevalence of people hanging out and smoking in Portland, hmm.
So starting with Prague.
And Kotor, Montenegro.
A common thread the world over is smoking and cellphones.
It only seems fitting that I leave you with some wisdom from the cats, which are so prevalent in Kotor, as they are in so many European cities. Have a good day.

Am roaring looking at that last cat photo! I’ll have mine white and dry pussycat 🙂 ! And, no, smoking like that became ‘taboo’ a long time ago in Australia. . . but with a father and a father-in-law and two husbands who would not have liked to be alive without . . . I can sort’of see both sides . . .

I just got back from a week in northern Europe where I, too, breathed in my fair share of secondhand smoke. It’s one of the few downsides of travel. America has more than it’s share of troubles, but at least in the Midwest, there’s so much less smoking than when I was a kid.
