Definitely parched in Paris, and the painting totally depicts it.
Very hot here in North Yorkshire (29 degrees today and rising)but not as hot as Paris.
Like you we only travel in late Autumn. Love the colours and the hopefully softer heat.

We took the train to Chartres, the famous cathedral, to have lunch with friends today. It was like a ghost tow, last time we were there it was jammed, can only figure that 98F had something to do with it.

Thanks, was as hot in Paris yesterday as it was in Dubai. Paris restaurants, shops etc, dont always have AC, so its hard to get away from the heat.

Yep, we only are traveling now because of a person issue that came up, but never again.
